A fresh start for a radiant new year at OCD Opleidingen!

2024 was a year full of challenges, but thanks to your incredible understanding, commitment, and willingness to think along with us, we have made significant strides forward together. We are immensely grateful for how everyone has contributed and tackled challenges with us. Your commitment inspires us every day!

This year, we are expanding our offerings with new steps in the areas of management training, communication, and leadership, alongside our existing offerings of languages, Excel, and PowerBI. We are proud to take this logical step in our service offerings and look forward to the opportunities these new trainings will provide.

We value your expertise and encourage you to share your experiences, knowledge, and skills with us. Perhaps you teach more subject areas than we are aware of? Or have you recently further developed yourself? Let your project director know if there are new developments in your professional life. This helps us to have a complete picture of what we can approach you for and ensures that our offerings are as strong and relevant as possible. And that’s not all! We are continuously working to further expand the website. Soon, you will also find an extensive list of the most used teaching methods. If you have any suggestions for information you would like to see on the website, please send an email to projectsupport@ocdopleidingen.nl.

Like every year, OCD Opleidingen takes a summer break in the training sessions we provide. This year our summer break will be from July 21 to August 17, which corresponds to weeks 30 through 33. We are sharing this data and information about the summer break now so that you can take this into account.

Why a summer break?

The summer period is traditionally a quieter time as many of our students and team members enjoy their well-deserved vacation. During these weeks, we operate with minimal staffing, which means we cannot provide the full support that is normally available.

Therefore, we choose to pause the lessons from a quality perspective. As a rule, no lessons are given during the summer break. We realize that this can affect scheduled training, and sometimes it is necessary to adjust the schedule. To prepare everything well, we ask you to discuss with your project director as early as possible whether and how your trainings may be affected.

Preparation for this period

The summer break also offers a chance to relax and recharge, but it is also a good time to plan ahead for the period after the summer. We encourage everyone to use this time to prepare for the rest of the year. If you need help planning or have questions about how to best prepare, please contact your project director.

With the new year come new faces and fresh energy. As you may know, we have recently said goodbye to some colleagues who have taken on new challenges. But we are also excited to welcome Marjo and Tessa among us. Below you will find an updated overview of our team and their specific roles:

• Marleen & Christel: Project Directors - They manage the coordination and execution of trainings, from planning to completion, and are your first point of contact for project-related questions.
• Ferry: Project Director and Client Management – In addition to his role as project director for group trainings, Ferry maintains client relationships and works closely with clients to find solutions to their development challenges.
• Tessa: Project Director and Educationalist - Tessa coordinates educational projects and brings her educational expertise both internally and externally, for the development and design of our educational offerings and those of our clients.
• Marjo, Nicole, Kasper & Julius: Study Advisors - They inform potential and existing students about their study options and are responsible for providing study advice.
• Joep: Study Advisor and Marketing - Joep provides study advice and is also responsible for marketing activities, including managing online content and social media.
• Nadine: Project Support, Freelance Recruitment, Facilities and Locations - Nadine supports projects, recruits freelance trainers, and manages the facilities and the selection of suitable locations for our trainings.
• Esther: Microsoft Training and ICT Specialist - Esther is our specialist for Microsoft trainings and also supports our ICT needs.
• Aafke: Financial Support - Provides support for financial processes within the organization, including invoices and billing. She is your point of contact for all questions about billing procedures and statuses.
• Micha: Client Management, Financial Management, and Marketing - Micha is involved in client management, financial affairs management, and also supports our marketing efforts.
• Caroline: People & Culture, Complaints Committee - Caroline handles internal HR matters and also forms the complaints committee, for complaints that cannot be resolved directly with a colleague.
• Inghean: People & Culture, Organizational Development and Legal - Inghean focuses on personnel policy and strategic organizational development and ensures that these align with legal frameworks.

Personal contact with you, our trainers, is something we greatly value and consider important. This year, we plan to shape our usual gatherings differently. We are still exploring what is possible and will keep you updated as our plans take more shape. We look forward to seeing you again and creating new memories together!
